Where can I go in the Bible for encouragement and hope in the face of fear?

In this short video (3:31), Ron shares scriptures that he leans on when he has fear in his life. Perhaps for you, too, the financial and political uncertainty of 2008 left you with an aftertaste of fear as you head into the New Year. If so, take the time to listen to this video and to be uplifted by God’s message to you about fear.

2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)
For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, of love and of a sound mind.  
 
2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV)
We live by faith, not by sight.

Isaiah 8:13 (NLT)
Do not fear anything except the Lord Almighty. He alone is the Holy One. If you fear Him, you need fear nothing else.

Psalm 73:23-28 (NIV)
