During difficult economic times, what are the main things NOT to skimp on?
In this short video (2:27), Ron shares a list of eight key things not to “skimp” on in your financial life during a difficult economy. In his blog, he gives internet links under each of the eight categories to help you learn about helpful management of that area of your life and finances. His focus in the blog is on practical steps for each area as well as on the truth that God never “skimps” on the abundant life and provision for His children.
As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures on abundance and meditate on their Truth and their application.
John 10:10 (NASB)
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.”
Ephesians 3:20 – 21 (NASB)
“Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
II Peter 1:10 – 11 (NASB)
“Therefore, brethren, be all the more diligent to make certain about His calling and choosing you; for as long as you practice these things, you will never stumble; for in this way the entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ will be abundantly supplied to you.”
Proverbs 11:25 (The Message)
“The one who blesses others is abundantly blessed; those who help others are helped.”
Genesis 9:7 (NASB)
“As for you, be fruitful and multiply; populate the earth abundantly and multiply in it.”
