What is the most important thing I can teach my children about money?
In this short video (1:43), Ron begins a Virtual Feedback Loop series on training children to manage money. This week, Ron discusses two important concepts in training kids about money, and next week he will expand on the envelope system that he mentions today.
As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures and meditate on their Truth and their application.
1 Chronicles 29:11 (NIV)
“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is Yours. Yours, O LORD, is the kingdom; You are exalted as head over all.”
Proverbs 22:6 (NASB)
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”
James 1:5-6 (NASB)
“But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.”
1 Timothy 3:4 (NASB)
“He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity.”
