How do I decide how much each beneficiary should receive? (Step Two: the “treatment” decision)

In this short video (1:25), Ron continues the Virtual Feedback Loop series on the topic of wealth transfer. This week, Ron speaks to the second step in the wealth transfer process, the treatment decision, by discussing how to love your adult children equally while treating them uniquely. We welcome your comments on the blog and thank you for your ongoing participation in the Virtual Feedback Loop!

Also, we are in an exciting time at MasterYourMoney.com as we are getting ready to unveil “Phase Two” of the site in the coming few weeks. It has been such a privilege to have your feedback over the last ten months or so as we’ve been developing ideas. We really hope that you will continue to enjoy this blog and the video answers and that you will enjoy the new structure and expanded features of the site. Check back soon to see the changes, and let us know what you think by emailing info@masteryourmoney.com!

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)
“Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.”

Colossians 3:21 (NASB)
“Fathers, do not exasperate your children, so that they will not lose heart.”

Ephesians 6:1-4 (NASB)
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. Honor your father and mother (which is the first commandment with a promise), so that it may be well with you, and that you may live long on the earth. Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.”
