When should I begin the wealth transfer process? (Timing Decision)

In this short video (1:51), Ron continues the Virtual Feedback Loop series on the topic of wealth transfer. This week, Ron speaks to the third step in the wealth transfer process, the timing decision, by discussing the importance of giving your money while you are alive. We welcome your comments on the blog and thank you for your ongoing participation in the Virtual Feedback Loop!

Also, we are in an exciting time at as we are getting ready to unveil “Phase Two” of the site in the coming few weeks. Today in the blog, we’ve directed you to some new links that are available through the Surviving Financial Meltdown resources on our home page. We really hope that you will continue to enjoy this blog and the video answers and that you will enjoy the new structure and expanded features of the site. Check back soon to see the changes, and let us know what you think by emailing!

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Principle #1: Kingdom Principle

Luke 12:33 (ESV)
“Sell your possessions, and give to the needy. Provide yourself with moneybags that do not grow old, with a treasure in the heavens that does not fail, where no thief approaches and no moth destroys.”

Luke 16:11 (NASB)
“Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you?”

I Timothy 6:17-19 (NASB)
“Instruct those who are rich in this present world not to be conceited or to fix their hope on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly supplies us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, storing up for themselves the treasure of a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is life indeed.”

Principle #2: Givin’ While Livin’ Principle

Matthew 25:21 (ESV)
“His master said to him, “Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.”

Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)
“Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.”
