What is Biblical Stewardship? A Growth Process
In this short video (2:19), Ron continues an eight-week series on biblical stewardship. This week, he discusses the fact that engaging in biblical stewardship opens us up to a growth process that goes far beyond our finances. Ron encourages you to focus on the eternal perspective and see each financial lesson and decision as training for something much bigger in eternity.
As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.
Matthew 25:23 (NIV) "His master replied, 'Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master's happiness!'”
II Timothy 4:7-8 (NASB)
“I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
James 5:7 (NIV)
“Be patient, then, brothers, until the Lord’s coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains.”
