Stewardship: Money is a Testimony

In this short video (1:55), Ron finishes an eight-week series on biblical stewardship. This week, he shares that our use of money is ultimately a testimony to the world. Our financial decisions are a major way that we can be salt and light to the world.

As always, Ron’s encouragement to you is to go back to God’s Word to restore your faith. Take a moment to consider the following Scriptures, and meditate on their Truth and their application.

Proverbs 4:18 (NIV)
“The path of the righteous is like the first gleam of dawn, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”

Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV)
"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men. You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.”

Philippians 2:15 (NASB)
“So that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you appear as lights in the world”
